I'm working on a mix cd. It's going to be 80's cover songs. I have a great version of Tainted Love by The Living End, Take on Me and Hungry Like the Wolf by Reel Big Fish, 99 Red Balloons by Goldfinger.... I'm looking for more ideas for songs though. So if anyone can give me a few more good songs, preferrably in the punk-ish genre, that would be awesome.

In other news, last night was a lot of fun. In fact, these last two days have been really good. Friday was my productive day, and I feel good about that. Yesterday I had some brief productive moments, chilled with Josh for a bit... Went to Portland and found the courthouse and bought a book at Powell's (not the book I was originally looking for, but still good). And I finally found someone who actually wants to go to Sweet Tomatoes with me! I took Alex there and he absolutely loved it. He was a kid in a candy store, seriously. Oh, and for anyone who hasn't been there, they have these really really tiny ice cream cones, smaller than the average nail polish bottle... anyways, I made myself a cone that was at least 4-5 inches tall, and it look awesome. A lady actually walked past out table and stopped to say "Oh my gosh, that is the best ice cream cone I have ever seen!" I was proud of myself.

Ok, after that I chilled at home until I could finish working out all the plans to drink and be merry at Josh's sister's place. After making a few calls, it ended up being me, Josh, Kevin, and Amanda Burleson, who I haven't seen since high school and haven't really talked to since jr high. We had some Captain Mo's and Dr. Pepper. Yumm yumm. There was a lot of making out with me and Kevin too. :-) We watched Donnie Darko, made an outing to a playground... it was a fun night. And we got some video of it on Josh's digital camera. I want to start taking video like this and eventually make a dvd out of it or something. I think that would be sweet. Anyway, Kevin left a little after midnight, and I walked him to his car and we made out for quite some time... when I went back inside, Amanda was taking orders for Taco Bell. mmmm crunchwrap. We watched Strangeland and all passed out. I woke up at 6 am and decided to come home and go back to sleep. Good times.

I think I'll go watch a movie and go to bed now. Ciao!

It's not really punkish but "Smooth Criminal" I think was redone by Alein Ant Farm

How about "Love Song" by Jack Off Jill, or "Wicked Game" by HIM?

And AMANDA BURLESON?!?!?! ACK! I don't know if I ever mentioned this, but I secretly had a rather strong dislike of her in high school. Something about her always drove me nuts.

I have Love Song around here somewhere... and wicked game, I don't think that was 80's song, was it? I dont' know, I could be wrong...

And Amanda, taken out of the high school scene, actually isn't that bad. I didn't think much of her in high school either.
