yeah bitches
So if I wasn't sure that I was having transmission problems before, I definately am now. When I left for work this morning, I turned a corner in my neighborhood and slowed down for it, then tried to accelerate after the turn but it got stuck and just revved the engine... so I take my foot off the gas, wait a sec then try again and it just revs... I try switching to neutral and back to drive and it does it still. I also tried the other drive gear things and no change. Finally, I switch it back to neutral and then drive again and it kinda violently slammed into gear. It was crazy. Just as I was about to really start freaking out about my car and getting to work.... this sucks. HEY ALEX, ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Other than that today was actually pretty good. My legs didn't really hurt today at work (maybe that was because I had taken an excedrin for a headache, though...) and the really stupid customers decided to stay home for a change. A pleasant day at work... mondays are good at Fred Meyer cause it's the slowest day of the week.

Anyways, I want to talk about my weekend! Friday night was so much fun. My Nathan, Alex, other Nathan, me, Josh and his cousin Crystal all went out for karaoke. After some barhopping we finally found a good place - The Galaxy. I think we have a new favorite... All of us except Josh and Crystal sang. Randomly, they had a Bif Naked song in their book (I Love Myself Today), so of course that;s what I picked. I kicked so much ass... I blew the amp cause I was so loud... By far my best karaoke experience. Saturday... what did I do saturday? oh yeah, nothing! WHy, cause I randomly got sick and threw up. It sucked... Yesterday after work Nathan and I got some food and watched a lot of tv. Yup, that;s it, all up to date now.....

I'm feeling...: goodgood

Other then changing the filter, there isnt much i can do (yet)

In 5-6 weeks i'm taking automatic trannys... And i could do work on it at school if you could find some other way to get around while it is disassembled. You would only pay for parts, not labor, and my transmission instuctor could help me figure out whats wrong.

Hope that helps.

hmm.... how long would I be without a car?

this is a good question. It really depends on whats wrong. If your transmission needs to be rebuilt, a week would be needed at least:-/. But its going to take a long time anyway. If you decied to just buy a new transmission from the junkyard, then... 3-4 days probably.

I suppose that isn't too bad... I just need another car to drive while mine is indesposed... that's the hard part. Do you think it would just be easier to buy a new car? Maybe you know of a good car somewhere that I can get for a decent price or something, since you're really good at finding that sort of stuff. Or, do you know someone with an extra working car that I would be able to borrow?

Thanks for sending it to me, I realize it might have been a hassle... I think one of these days I'm just going to make you give me all your pictures on a disc...
